Jumuiya Women Fund (JWF), a women’s rights fund committed to women’s empowerment. Our mission is to mobilize financial, human and material resources to support initiatives for transformation led by women and girls in East Africa JWF addresses the six critical issues that underpin gender equality: i) Gender-Based Violence; ii) Economic Justice and Rights; iii) Bodily Autonomy and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR); iv) Feminist Action for Climate Justice; v) Technology and Innovation for Gender Equality; and vi) Feminist Movements and Leadership vii) Food & Livelihoods. With a grant from Equality Fund Canada, JWF is supporting 300 vulnerable women headed households in six counties of Kenya with Cash Transfers, training on climate-smart agriculture as well as distribution of fast-growing vegetables and maize seed The JWF CVA program is committed to supporting often-overlooked, vulnerable communities in need of urgent assistance and is presently formulating the Standard Operating Procedures (SoPs) and accompanying tools on Cash & Voucher Assistance.
