Crisis situations disproportionately affect women and marginalized communities, and JWF is committed to responding with a feminist approach. Our gender-sensitive crisis response programs address the unique needs of women during emergencies, ensuring they receive the support and resources necessary to recover and rebuild.
We leverage partnerships, community networks, and innovative solutions to provide aid during crises, whether caused by conflict, natural disasters, or health emergencies. By prioritizing women’s voices and leadership in crisis management, we foster resilience and long-term recovery for affected communities.
This work contributes to SDG 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities). Together, we ensure that no woman is left behind in times of crisis and that recovery efforts are inclusive and sustainable.
