Background
Jumuiya Women Fund was first founded as Jumuiya Women Group in 2001 as a community based organization, and was later incorporated in February 2019 in Eldoret, Kenya; as a company limited by guarantee, under Companies Act 2015, with the legal name “Jumuiya Women Fund Ltd”. The Organization is a nonprofit women’s rights and development organization which leverages its local philanthropic, impact-investing and capacity building strategies to delivery impactful outcomes for women and girls.
