JWF is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing women’s rights and development by leveraging; grant making, institutional capacity strengthening, influencing philanthropy, impact investing, feminist crisis response, and resource mobilization to deliver impactful outcomes for women and girls.

Jumuiya Women Fund’s mission is to support women-led grassroots organizations through grant-making, capacity strengthening, and global resource mobilization to advance gender equality and empowerment. Founded in 2001

Founded in 2001 as Jumuiya Women Group, a Community-Based Organization.

Transitioned In 2019

Transitioned into Jumuiya Women Fund in 2019, incorporated as a company limited by guarantee.

We empower Women and Girls Rights Organizations, Networks, Movements, and Social Enterprises across thematic areas including Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV), Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR), Economic Empowerment & Rights, Climate Change and Sustainable Livelihoods, Feminist Movement & Leadership, Technology and Innovations, and Feminist Response to Crisis.
