JWF’s strategy is tailored to increase participation in economic activities, development programs and financial inclusion for all women and girls in Kenya. JWF will support women-led and owned start-ups and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), from supporting them in business planning, making their enterprises investor-ready, availing catalytic grants to unlock private sector investments and local financing opportunities, and increasing the survival and success rate of women-owned and led enterprises.

This is expected to increase local job creation and opportunities for women and girls, thus contributing to Sustainable Development Goals, namely: SDG 1 – No Poverty; SDG 3 – Zero Hunger; SDG – Decent Work and Economic Growth; and SDG 9 – Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure.
