JWF and all its LIPs under this Annual Plan, 2024 will collectively gear efforts tailored to contribute towards achievement of the County and National Climate Action Plans. The JWF Climate Change strategy focuses on supporting interventions that applies innovative approaches in mitigating direct climate impact on women and girls; and seeks to encourage climate adaptation livelihood initiatives e.g. Climate Smart Agriculture to improve the Quality of life among women and girls from impoverished societies.

This intervention contributes to achieving Sustainable Development Goals, namely: SDG 6 – Clean Water and Sanitation, SDG 7 – Affordable and Clean Energy, SDG 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities, SDG 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production, SDG 13 – Climate Action, SDG 14 – Life Below Water, and SDG 15 – Life on Land
